Mocha Coffee Sodas for Two

Courtesy of SingleJoCoffee.com, this recipe is perfect for a romantic coffee date at home with your partner. When it comes to coffee recipes iced to perfection, this one is a winner. 

 

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces of strong black, cold coffee
  • 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream
  • 8 ounces of cold seltzer water
  • 2 large scoops of premium chocolate ice cream
  • Milk or dark chocolate shavings

 

How to make it:

  1. Pour 4 ounces of coffee into two tall, chilled glasses.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder to each glass; stir gently.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream to each glass.
  4. Pour 4 ounces of seltzer water into each glass and stir.
  5. Place a large scoop of chocolate ice cream into each glass. Fill with additional seltzer water to the top of the glass.
  6. Garnish the top of each soda with chocolate shavings

Strawberry Cold Brew

Are you more into the coffee recipes iced variety? Well, get ready to delight the taste buds! You and your person will love this cold brew recipe. CoffeeSphere has done a fantastic job recreating this Starbucks favorite at home. 

 

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup cold brew coffee 
  • 1 tbsp white chocolate sauce 
  • 1 tsp raspberry syrup 
  • ¼ cup oat milk 
  • 1 drop of strawberry syrup 
  • Chocolate curls, mini chocolate chips, or chocolate shavings

 

How to make it:

  1. Make cold brew coffee. 
  2. Pour cold brew coffee, white chocolate sauce, and raspberry syrup into a glass. Mix and add ice. 
  3. Froth milk in a milk frother. While frothing, add in a drop or two of strawberry syrup. 
  4. Pour pink cold foam on top of cold brew coffee. 
  5. Top with chocolate curls or mini chocolate chips.

Red Velvet Latte

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee of your choice
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 3 drops red food coloring
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup chocolate morsels
  • Garnish: whipped cream

 

How to make it:

  1. Add milk and sugar to a saucepan and bring to a simmer on medium heat.
  2. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate until melted.
  4. Add coffee, vanilla, and food coloring. Stir.
  5. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate morsels.

Cupid Cappuccino

If coffee cocktails are more your thing, this recipe from Whole Latte Love is for you. However, when those frozen coffee cocktails don’t cut it, this coffee recipe will keep you cozy. 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 Shot of Espresso
  • 1 oz. Chocolate Syrup
  • ¼ oz. Creme De Menthe
  • ½ oz. Amaretto
  • 4 oz. Frothed Milk
  • ½ tsp. Sugar
  • Whipped Cream, Sprinkles for Garnish

 

How to make it:

  1. Simply mix your chocolate syrup, creme de menthe, amaretto, and sugar in a separate glass before frothing your milk. 
  2. Pour your hot milk into your drinking cup of choice and pull one shot of espresso over the milk. 
  3. Pour in the mixed ingredients last, and top off your drink with some whipped cream and sprinkles for a little decadent fun.
